Whoah, Gandalf?

You've lost me I'm afraid. Spent a while trying to see a Gandalf type figure in the rocks, but nope

edit: Or is it you think the images look like Middle Earth?

Can't speak for @NB23 but that sure looks to me like what might have been seen on the way from Galadriel's grove to Carhadras, or Beorn's side of the Misty Mountains, just above Mirkwood.

Come on guys, there is a FACE in there. Jumps at you. 80% of the photograph is just one big face.

And I am not hallucinating.

Ah, with you now. Still not what I would call obvious.

Picasso Gandalf maybe

Looks more like an Ent to me. :whistling:

Yes, Ent for sure.

Pareidolia isn't one of my stronger suits, I'm afraid.

It occurs to me that, based on all the street photography we have seen from him here, that it isn't the least bit surprising that NB23 sees patterns in things that aren't immediately obvious to the rest of us.

I can’t say I would have seen it in person but on screen (print) it jumped out at me. I’m also relieved that Pareidolia isn’t mistaken for a mental illness anymore
