Nice series, especially this one.

Thank you GLS.
But, just out of plain curiosity, may I ask why you prefer this one (above the first two), be frank?

In the meantime, may I show you this one?

I know, these aren't really interior photographs, but the roof, which must have been wonderfully arched, is simply gone...

The Clôtre as seen from the Salle Capitulaire via the Couloir Nord.

Hmmm, difficult to put my finger on it exactly. For me I just find the overall composition in that one to be a bit more effective, with the strong rhythms and leading lines set up by the various structures, counterpointed and anchored by that lone object (plinth?) in the right foreground. Also the fact that there are no objects very close to the camera helps hide the warping effect of the super wide angle lens; something I am not personally too fond of.

For those who are interested, here is an old floor plan of this abby:

Seeing increased activity in this topic, I'll just say that some of these could fit into current month's MSA: "Beauty Of Deacay"

It's lovely!

Acces, along the wall of the Refectoire, from the Jardin Ouest to the Couloir Nord-Ouest du Clôtre (again, the roof is gone).

I know, I was to enthusiast performing the vertical shift, but I don't care. And it isn't due to the red filter as this one is 82mm diameter which is mounted via an adapter on the center-filter (67mm)...

PS: I made a mistake in the location describtoin in the previous post: it is not the Clôitre Nord-Ouest but must be Nord-Est.

You're getting some lovely, moody low-key effects. I love them!

Museum Zeche Hannover (former coal mine) in Bochum, Germany.
Canon 7s, Jupiter-12 2.8/35mm (wide open or little stepped down).
Orwo/Wolfen NP100, Adox XT-3, 1+2, 12 Min.
The negatives are a little bit too thin. Under developed and under exposed.
With the low light condition indoor, a 400 ISO film would have been a better choice.
Flatbed scans from the silver gelatine prints on RC paper.
