LA is way more affordable than Bay Area (plenty of friends moved down there due to COVID-19 letting them work remotely, they all have upgraded). LA's boring weather probably has something to do with the discount.

Yes, the Bay Area [read: San Francisco Bay Area] has been becoming more and more expensive for decades and is higher priced than the Los Angeles area, in general.

I love the perspective on this, knowing it was demolished. Everything already feels like it's falling over backwards.
