Hello all!
I recently stumbled on someone who has an abundance of 65 mm short ends, long ends, and recans from Christopher Nolan‘s recent production, and thought I would see if I can get one of these rolls and split it up into 100 foot and 50 foot chunks for those that want to use it, but don’t want to buy an entire can of the stuff.
I am looking for buyers of 50D. I already have several people interested, however, I now need to sell 300 more feet. Due to what I can only hope is a miscommunication between me and the seller, and not the seller being a complete dick, the 400 foot roll of 50D I was planning on buying was sold before I could send payment for it. The next shortest roll that they have is 650 feet, hence me looking for more buyers.
This film can be used in 70mm film backs, BUT modifications may be necessary with some backs, and 65mm spools for 70mm cassettes, which can be bought from Mercury Works, or I can send some 3D models if asked.
This film also works well in 616/116 cameras, you just need to spool it onto backing paper.
This film cannot be put into 120/220 spools as-is, it must be trimmed to 61mm. If you would like to see how you can make MF film for yourself, there’s a link to a thread where I talk about it in my signature.
I already have about 100 rolls of 120 to make this winter break, so I will not be selling premade medium format rolls since it takes a large amount of time and effort. Splitting up a bulk roll is relatively easy though.
Price of the film is $100 for 50 ft and $180 for 100 ft, this includes shipping in the US.
I film should be delivered by January at the latest.
If you guys have any questions, definitely feel free to ask.
