The last known (to me) direct positive paper was produced by Harman (Ilford) but they announced that this product was suspended, that is, they're not producing it any more but they hope to bring it back at some point in the future. The suspension is due to the bankruptcy of Ilford Switzerland which was the actual producer of the product. Now I see ads for a product called Imago Direct Positive Paper produced by Ilford Switzerland (see Google:"direct positive paper"). Huh? I guess this must be remaining stocks but why are they calling it Imago and not Harman or Ilford?
Anyway, I see ads like this ...

that claim things like Black and white paper with an ILFOCHROME look (huh?) and other great things but is it real? If I buy it will I really get this paper? Anybody know?

). It's more expensive than the ilford stuff, and on RC paper. The seller I was sourcing it from can also get the ilford stuff I think, cheaper (at least the last time he got it for someone) and on fibre. Ilford have talked about trying to re-introduce it, I think there's some comment by Simon Galley somewhere on APUG.
