I've noticed that most of the UV units I've seen mentioned here have had the lamps at the top of the box and the printing frame goes beneath them.
Is there any reason the lamps coudn't go at the bottom & frame above?
I would assume that with lamps below the exposure area would have to be masked to prevent UV from escaping from around the frame.

Some of the flip top platemakers are made to expose from the bottom.

But, assuming you want to do any dodging or burning it is much more difficult to do so with lamps below the exposure area.
