I have an RZ PRo2 with just the standard lens (110) and would like some advice on the best lens to get for portraits. If possible, I would like to do some hand-held work, though maybe the standard lens is the limit for this, in terms of weight and balance? I use it occasionally hand-held at the moment, and it's O.K. in good light, in fact can yield great results but I can't get close to my subject without being intimidating. Any suggestions/advice?? Many thanks.

Welcome to APUG Charlie. I asked a similar question recently regarding my RB-67. You can see it here: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

I must warn you that I am still somewhat undecided. Wouldn't it be easier if we could just shoot with all the lenses for a day and see what worked best?

Good luck,

Alan.

Hi Alan!

Sorry, I should have noticed that thread.

Still, any comments particularly about the RZ and re hand-held work would be most welcome...and you've made me think that hiring some lenses for the week-end might be helpful, if it's not too expensive.
