The propacks of 120 have flaps that are designed for just this purpose.
For 35mm, I have lots of old ones, but business cards trimmed to fit and written on work well.

So does this mean that (a) none of the 135 Portra films have memo cards on the end of the pack (b) none of the 120 Portra films do either or do they when sold as ones but not when sold as "bricks" of 5.

I just had a quite look at a U.K. retailer selling bricks of 10 of 120 HP5+ and in his case it seems to be 10 individual boxes in one pack so there is a memo card on each

If i have got this right then it would seem that Ilford 120 in terms of memo cards has an advantage over Kodak. Of course my conclusion may not be valid depending on answers to (a) ad (b) above

The great thing about all of this, Bormental, is that with Ilford there is none of this tiresome business of choosing the right colour palette either :D

Thanks

For 120, the five pack has five rolls in a row inside a single cardboard box. Haven't handled a Pro Pack of 135 in a long time, if ever, but I used to buy Fuji at Costco, pay for three rolls and get a fourth (24 exp.) in the box, and that box had a flap that could serve as the memo card, though only recently have I gotten a camera with a memo holder. Older ones never seem to have one.
