Kodak Polydol Replinisher has lye in it. The Developer itself doesn't.

@E. von Hoegh intended to underline my statement, that a pH of 30 is ridiculous. If even 10% lye in water won't reach half that pH, then a pH of 30 for a photographic developer is somewhere between ridiculous, printing error and impossible. Whether any of the components of Polydol contain lye is immaterial at this point.

i gave all mine to a friend
i'm still using sumatran-caffenol and ansco130 ( or dektol ) as my film developers
