Hello...there is a post on my blog where I did some math this summer. Purely hobby oriented, not pro. I was trying to get a handle on my purchases, but is certainly not exhaustive and since was hobby, did not try to put value on my time when deriving per print costs. If you are shooting 35mm, $5000 gets you lots and lots of Tri-X and 8X10 prints!! I guess it is not as much with large and ultra large formats.
