Are the baby boomers pushing the LF cottage industry to a greater presence then it has been in many years. Let's see.

I'm 47, but have been shooting large format since I was 15 or 16...

I'm 28. Hopefully I can learn enough to keep LF going as long as materials for it are avaliable.

I'm 53...and have been Large formating it for only 4 years. I'm now also doing 6x7 and I might stick with that...and put the 4x5 to bed...but who knows?

I'm 45, but have been using 4x5 since I was 20...over 1/2 my life

55.

Got my 8x10... 35 years ago.

62. Shooting 2x3 (not LF, some say) with Graphics (LF, some say) for about 14 years. 2x3 Graphics are on the cusp between MF (medium, not manual) and LF.

44, been using LF gear since the age of 13, used 35mm for many years, but have been in and out of LF since the age of 13

65 years young... been "at it" for 53 years (30 years as a 'pro') stared off under the supervisionn and encouragement of of a retired neighbour using an early 8x10 Gandolfi... and a Pierce from the turn of the 20th Century equipped with shutterless brassies and Waterhouse stops (the black velvet-lined bowler did the trick wonderfully well. Hopefuly, still as enthusiastic and still in my "learning mode"

48 and returning to large format after a 15 year absence. Graduated from 4x5 to 8x10 in '05. Looking to grow to 7x17 this year.

The poll results indicate it is the boomers pushing Large Format.

Hmmmmm... I will be hitting the "Double Nickel" this summer sometime and I have been shooting LF since about 1987 or '88.

I'm 51. Started shooting LF 24 years ago.

I'm 34 and have been doing it for about 4 years, before that it was medium format since I was about 4 years old.

I'm only 60, even though I've been accused of helping construct Stonehenge. The earliest 4x5s I'm willing to show date from 1972.
