hi everyone....

I recently bought myself, as some of you who've already been helping me out, a 5 x 4 camera with a view of shooting some T-Max 100 for example....I will then scan the negatives I produce on my Scanmate 5000 drum scanner and to do things properly I've purchased some mounting gel etc......

so....I've just received Kami DC 2001 drum scanner cleaner and KO-TON (Chicopee) lint-free wipes...great....its quite obvious how to use those.....

Now, I have a tube of Policrom Screens POLIGEL (75ml) which is for mounting film on the drum.....can anyone give me any instruction on how to do this....either verbally or through a YouTube movie link or something.....there are no instructions anywhere....

also....once you scan etc what happens to the negative with this fluid on it....do you take it off or somehow preserve the film with the fluid on it???? and if so how the hell does one take it off??????

another thing.....it CAN be used with b+w negatives not just for transparencies I hope...cos thats why I bough it for!!!!
