Spring loaded floor to ceiling poles to hang seamless paper on, I think.

I guess I should have explained what they are. These are similar to the old Tinkertoys; they can be custom fitted to extend from floor to ceiling and hold backgrounds, seamless, scrims, lights, booms, etc. Years ago, almost every commercial/portrait/wedding guy had a set of these for both studio and location work.
