I think they are planning to produce film that will work in SX-70 cameras.

The most precise statement was by Florian Kaps of Impossible:
"It will have everything that people love nowadays about Polaroid. There will also be some new formats and new characteristics and new things, but always it will be an analog instant picture and we can promise that you will still shake it like a Polaroid, and it will come out of the same Polaroid cameras."

But also:
"We are just afraid that there is still a good chance that we won’t be able to produce any film.”

People who are unfamiliar with the entire spectrum of needs to produce a photographic material are often over optimistic about either time scales or indeed, even the possibility of getting plant up and running.

That last sentence in the post by AgX is the most important statement there as is an earlier comment about having some components that were made in the US and which have no published formulas within available company records in Europe.
