If you're a studio photographer, a really fun thing to do is to buy this little device:

With that, you can connect your SX-70 to a studio flash (or other) and give it the light the film craves. I hook mine up to a Speedotron 2400 watt second pack--it really kinda needs all that power--and shoot mostly portraits with it. You can get really, really nice results with that.
