I am going to attempt to use strobes to do some copy work. In the past I have always used continuous lights with polarizing gels and a polarizing filter on the lens to eliminate reflections. I can easily see when the lens polarizer is at the correct angle that way. But I am unsure if the modeling lights on the strobes will let me preview the lighting well enough to adjust the lens filter the same way. Or if the strobe light has different characteristics as far as how the polarizer gels work with them. Beyond trial and error, is there any way to do this efficiently?
