does ne1 know anything about polapan? is there anywhere else that i can find any rolls? also, is there a reversal paper for b&w so i can print polapan?

I tried Polopan 20 yrs ago. Looked at slides last year & they were deteriorating - may have been due to improper storage. Understand that Polaroid is dropping the film (though still listed at their web-site). I now use Agfa Scala for b&w slides. Direct printing to paper same as color slides. Supposedly, all b&w negative film can be processed for slides (see http://www.dr5.com/main.html dr5 chrome process)

does the new film u use look as good as polapan? it has this special quality 2 me that i don't really see in other films. i have never printed chrome film. i guess i'll have to go buy some paper.

Been shooting Agfa Scala for just over a year & love it. Good tonal range. Problem is, though, have to be careful with exposure - 1 or 2 stops either way result in useless slides. Good review of film:
