PMK & BERGGER BPF 200 4X5

Does anybody have a recommended starting time/temp for PMK & BPF 200 4x5 film in tray processing? Also, I think some people do not use the Pyro after bath technique, do you know why? It doesn't seem like this would be an optional step.

I cannot help with the starting times but the after bath does not add anything that is needed as far as stain is concerned. It adds general stain to the negative and that makes the negative more difficult to print thru. It is especially not helpful to alt photo guys and gals. Gorden Hutchins has quit recommending the after soak. He is the inventor of PMK.

Same data as for our Classic 200, Forte 200 and Artista.edu 200. We have starting times on the web site and the forums are full of information about times for these films.

You are just now realizing that fact after all the discussions on this site? Yes all those films are the same and produced by Forte as per J & C's post.

Bergger 200=Forte 200=Classic 200=edu 200

Yes, Forte makes them all on the same production line and cuts them out of the same master rolls.

I'm not sure you're right. Indeed BRF 200 is produced by Forte. But it's not the same emulsion.
Forte is an emulsioner, and they work to made emulsions for other brand, following their own recipes.
