I already own a Hasselblad 500 C/M with a PME prism (unmetered). I have a chance to pick up a PME-3 (42294) metered prism that is calibrated for the Accu-mat screen.

I've read that the only real difference is to have the PME-3 modified. Alternatively, I could adjust the ISO to account for the brightness difference. Any suggestions?

Get the prism modified. It is easy and not a big deal. I had that done to my PME when I got it. That will eliminate a chance for errors.

I don't trust my PME's meter anyway; always use a Penrax spotter or an external incident meter instead.
