Please Help Identify this Flash Accessory

Thanks to a dead hard drive, I've lost a bunch of bookmarks (no need to explain here what was wrong with my backup). One of the bookmarks was for a flash accessory that I wanted to try, and never got around to ordering. As far as I know, it wasn't sold in any stores and was available only from that website.

What this device had was a bounce card adjustable to any angle, combined with a plastic diffusion screen (I think there might have been two layers of plastic for the diffusion screen). Depending on how one adjusted the angle of the bounce card, it was possible to have all bounce, all diffusion, or any combination of the two. The thing was inexpensive and came in at least two sizes.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? If so, could I please have the url?

I thought I saw something like that in the back of a Photo magazine. You might also try Google'ing photo bounce card and see what you find.

I have something like it. You can also cobble a close facsimile by rubber banding a white piece if poster board to a flash that articulates upward. That's what we did for years, with a little piece of diffusion opposite to fuzz the point source.

Image wise, it works to enlarge the point source, making things appear softer and shadows less harsh, at the expense of intensity. I found swiveling the flash to bounce behind into a corner even better, but that takes a bit more planning.

Try the kluge I described, and see if you like it, and if you do, get the nice one.
