Hello!!!!
I must admit that I enjoy playing with the Holga 120N.
Of course, I rather prefer to use any of my medium format cameras most of the times that I can went out to shoot photos ... but, sometimes, I just simply play without any further pretension. Anyway, I really like the look this plastic meniscus lens give to some scenes ... mainly in daylight ;-)
My sample has not light leaks wich I hate. Good.

In Spain, children typically receive presents on january 6th rather than on Christmas. It's one of our local traditions, the way we celebrate Epiphany at home ... toys for our children (and other presents, of course).

So, I used my camera-toy that morning.
For the first time I shot with flash, the old Nikon SB-22.

Happy New Year!

Nice! Did you use any sort of diffuser on the SB-22?

Very nice results. It does not look like your Holga gives up much compared to a more prestigious 6X6.
For more Holga inspiration google 'David Burnette', He has done a lot of published work with a Holga.

Hello!

Thank you for your comment.
Well, It's quite a simple camera-toy ... but, as I said before, I like toys ;-)
I think that the lens is nice when you focus at 1m (closer distance), but only in the center, as you can see in my photos. But this is what I like, I mean, what make me use it sometimes: its crazy MTF, hehehe.

David Burnett was an "inspiration" to buy the camera but I took my decision when I saw several pics of one user of this forum ... unfortunately I don't remember is nick.

Nice results, I would say too sharp for Holga . Did you cut the edges where usually vignetting is present?
ps I prefer Diana F - even less sharp .

Hello!
You're right, I was very surprised with the sharpness of the second pic !!!
I only cut the edges in the first one (right edges), just to avoid some ugly mess in the room ;-)
I've not used the Diana F ... ummm, less sharp and much more expensive !!

Best regards!
Antonio
