Is anyone interested in grabbing a pint on Wed. Feb. 13th?

Les McLean, Sandy King (provided he doesn't snap after his Tigers lose tonight) and Bob Carnie will all be there.

We could all meet at Elevator, get inspired looking at the images on the walls and then grab a pint at a nearby establishment.

If we get more than 10 to show, perhaps Carnie will wear the orange prison suit out!

If more than 10 show both me and Carnie will wear orange jump suits for the first pint, and I don't want a refusal Mr Carnie. :D:mad:

If you'll allow northern novices, I'll come down from Sudbury. The thing I want to see is Les in his fancy winter clothes; perhaps he will regale us with his travel tales.

I believe Mr King will remain un-snapped, since our LSU Tigers will manhandle the Buckeyes tonight! Seriously, a pint in Toronto sounds like just the ticket--last time I had one there was in October 2005.

Enjoy, guys, and happy new year--hoist one for me.

Brian, you'll have to teach me how to zip my mouth as I travel, especially on "Mickey Mouse" I mean Air Canada airlines, otherwise I may not even make it to Toronto. :D

One one of those "terrist" watch lists, no doubt:tongue:

Be careful Bob, I've seen him get ornery with 253 yr old. men (with walkers)!

Les,
I have dealt successfully with many verbose individuals; they do not hold a candle to you, Les. However, I wouldn't even presume to attempt to keep you from having your say. Anyway, there is the occasional gem that comes out. It is sort of like verbal panning for gold. I await your every syllable.

And I think it is unfair for Mr. Carnie to talk about "Depends". It is simply a matter of using the "car trip" approach to going into the darkroom - "Does anyone have to go before we leave/close the door?"
Looking forward to seeing you and to meeting some of the southern folks.

Bob probably meant that his attendance "depends" on whether or not Dinesh is buying the beer:tongue:

Alright you cheap bastards, I'll buy the first round of pints!

As for Zebra, I don't believe he will be here. But if he is, I'll buy him a drink as well. Although his preferred adult beverage usually has an umbrella and fruit of some kind!

For anyone interested, we are going to meet at Elevator (Laird / Eglinton) at 7 pm.

Come on out as this could very well be the last time Sandy King comes to Canada after he experiences -2000 degree weather and 4 ft. of snow!
