I have a Sinar F1 that does not see a lot of use. Well....The field camera has spring issues in the universal back, so I have been eyeing the F1 thinking I ought to dust it off. I have not used it a lot because of the short bellows, and I need a longer rail. So, here is my question

I know the rail is not going to be an issue, but I am wondering about the bellows. I don't shoot anything wider than 135, will I need to hold onto the shorter bellows to shoot this lens or will I be able to do it with a longer bellows?

I have shot with my 120 Nikkor on my F1 with the standard bellows. Not any movements left and it was compressed almost all the way. I would check Ebay for a bag bellows for it - not that expensive.

Thanks. That is what I thought. The 135 is REALLY tight too. Hard to imagine needing a bag bellows for a 135 though. Oh well, the camera was definately cheap enough, I can't complain.

Cheap enough..Heheh. Never thought I would say that about a Sinar.
