Just for your enjoyment. The tale is here.

Hope you have some fun with it. I used the Eastman Improved #2 camera with 8X10 and 7X11 backs. The Wolly Verito 18" on 7X11 is just delicious.

Along similar lines, the next day we Dead Link Removed done in Tonopah 100 years ago when the Thomas Flyer arrived in Tonopah on March 20 1908 on it's way to Paris France! Again the 18 Verito just sung.

Really great shots and I enjoyed the narrative as well. The re-enacted photo is fabulous. There's something special about old cars and cameras,

Truly wonderful, Jim. Thanks for sharing. Jon

Awesome shots Jim! Really enjoyed the re-enactment images as well. What a treat!

Nice Jim, looks like a lot of fun..sort of partial to those 7x11's.

The Verito and the 7x11 really is a nice combo. Thanks for sharing with us.

Tonopah, Nevada seems like the place to be.

Good stuff indeed.

Jim, the way that last picture looks, it is almost as if the car is smiling for you.
