I want one. Already in my Amazon cart.

It's also kind of making me want a more capable half frame, "just because." I don't know WHY I'd want, say, an Olympus Pen when I can get a full frame camera the same size or smaller, and don't need 72 shots, but there's something kind of cool about it.

You’re welcome! I am actually impressed with it. I would not pick it for landscape stuff because the focus point is primed for about 8 ft, but for what this is with its intended use it is much better than I thought it would be.
It is impressively light tight - I’ve had annoying to hunt down light leaks in cameras which cost 10 to 20 times as much! I do have concerns w the film rewind mechanism but one way to improve it‘s longevity is when you load the camera do not pull on the rewind knob/crank to pull it out. Just reach in the camera and push it down/out with your finger. This way you only have to pull down on the rewind crank when you remove the film cannister.
It is a lightweight plasticky thing but frankly the design is fantastic. It looks amazing and a huge part of that was putting the flash on/off switch around the lens.
I just loaded a roll of Arista 100 B&W but this time will not rush to complete it. And I will not intentionally make diptychs, but just use it and take advantage of the 76 exposures per roll!
This is a fun daylight use camera that I can recommend.
Thanks Huss! Nice samples and they look plenty sharp, that 2 element plastic lens seems quite good. Maybe I should go ahead and put a roll in my Wide and Slim, pretty sure it’s the same lens.

I went ahead and ordered one. None of my usual camera stores had them but Amazon did, same price. At least the black one I could have tomorrow, the brown one the day after (I got the brown one, no particular reason, just looked more "vintage" I guess) but the other two way out in September availability.

I plan to load it with XP2+ and keep it in my motorcycle saddle bag, grab shots where and when I see something worth stopping for or when I'm already stopped to walk around. (Yes I know, technically a 400 film. I'd bet good money it'll work great, exposure wise.)

I love watching people being converted to half-frame. It's superior to shooting full frame for 2022.

Ah-yup.

Half-frame is the original full frame.

Part deux is here

I also have shot another roll of C200, just need to go get it developed.

Leica made several half-frame cameras -- not that anyone can find or afford any of them.

How can it be that every time I visit Photrio I read something that shocking. The thought of a M4-2 half frame seems insane
