We're here at the Birchwood and it is really nice. The closet room is much larger than we expected, and the facilities seem good.

Tried to get here earlier, but my car wouldn't start, so after replacing the battery here we are. Not too bad of a drive. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

Indeed - the bathroom is pretty small. It took us a minute to find the shower actually.

Now go sit on the toilet lid and imagine changing 7x17 holders with the dark slide slid into the shower stall.

jeff and eva...i had the same problem when i checked into my closet room last year..i could not find the shower and wondered HOW i was going to use the sink for bathing. i was really in a bit of a panic. then, lo and behold, the shower was being hidden by the bathroom door AND it was bigger than the entire bathroom! ....be careful of your knees when you use the toilet eva. they hit the wall in front of you. it's quite and experience. i will be up there on wednesday sometime in another closet room. see you then!

Luckily they sell Oberon in my local MN liquor store and in the kegs you speak of I'll bring my own and charge you guys Wish I was doing the black paw workshop.... it's a must have for next year I think.

I know this is premature, but I'm optimistically aiming for 6:00 P.M. next Friday. I figure I can save a couple of hours by packing early and leaving straight from work. Nobody at home wants to come with me... go figure. :rolleyes: Mixed success in the darkoom this week... (doing a set of Caffenol prints... you can never be sure how they will work out)... might have some interesting stuff to show. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. Too bad Nic's not going to be there. She added a lot to last year's event.

I made it up to Toledo today. 10 hours of driving a day is plenty. I'm hoping to be up there with the rest of you guys sometime around lunch time tomorrow.

I am bringing some locally brewed beer with me for anyone who wants to taste Richmond's finest. I have never tried Oberon (I'll assume its beer).

If anybody has a use for some Arista 35mm bulk load iso400 100' and iso100 50' both expired earlier this year, msg me and I'll bring it. I also have some uncoded 35mm canisters too. I just rarely shoot 35mm anymore.
