Photography exhibition space closes in Los Angeles

Closed in March due to pandemic.

A victim itself, as are we...

Never to reopen while the foundation pursues other interested in the future.

Non-profits with small endowments or lack of other financial support are on life support. Look for others to close across the US and around the world; this is just the tip of the iceberg. Without massive governmental support (cash) it is likely many museums, arts centers and educational facilities will not reopen, or will be forced to merge. If you are in a position to help such organizations, please do so now, as next month may be too late.

The Annenberg Foundation has gobs of money. The Space wasn't a museum proper, but an exhibition space. The did have quite a few interesting and entertaining shows. I believe the space had originally been intended to be used as a restaurant, and prints sometimes were mounted less than ideal settings--glare from exterior windows (although draped), not enough room to step back and take in large prints, for example, and some be displayed digitally on monitors as slide shows. I used to work a block away and at such time would often take advantage of the free admission. They also had good evening lectures associated with the shows. I will miss it.

Nothing as far as I know except that I cannot see where you used it or who/what had the problem with it. Is this autocorrect that is the guilty party and if so can you not just ignore it?

I have four tires on my car. No I tell a lie, I have four tyres on it. Maybe there isn't auto correct here on Photrio. Otherwise it should correct one of the spellings and rightly the first one I fell into the harbor but didn't drown in the harbour. Now I get a red line under harbor as I should and not under harbour which is correct. Maybe it corrects the first harbor because I am typing this on a keyboard on a British table and today we have just had all four seasons on the same afternoon as the man who sang "Stranglers In the Night" liked to say about the unpredictability of the weather in Britain. The weather in Hoboken was presumably more reliable
