You know, I've never ever met anyone from Saskatchewan. I was starting to assume it was either unpopulated or a fabrication to round up the number of provinces to 10.

Are you telling me that you have never been to a CFL game, or seen one on TV?!
There are a bunch of Saskatchewan retirees around here - most likely because of the climate and because their kids moved here.
Prior to Covid, from time to time we used to visit a local pub that had so many "regulars" that were retired Saskatchewan farmers that we took to referring to the place as "Saskatchewan"!
Maybe they just avoid Ontario. :whistling:

Being from there, I know for a fact that we avoid Ontario, or anything east of Manitoba. Like you, Matt. I came to BC because my parents moved here. The awful part was that it was during my grade 12 year 🤨

That's correct. I actually assumed that was dissolved decades ago...

Maybe they just avoid Ontario.

And east of Ontario, where I've also lived. Perhaps they long so much to stray from flatland that they cannot resist the draw of crossing the Rockies?

Oh I have lots of friends who love travelling to the Maritimes. As long as they can minimize the time spent in the two large Provinces in between.
😉 😇😄

I know it. It's between my hometown of Saskatoon, and Edmonton.

In truth, I only lived in Cannuckistan briefly as a child and split the rest of early life in Urup and Alaska. Many years later I had occasion to be in Canada in Banff on vacation and was able to bang out some nice Hasselblad negatives. It is the first time I ever seriously photographed in my native country.
Here's one:

This was taken with my all time favorite Hassy lens, the 60mm f/3.5 Distagon.
