Hey folks.
It's that time again. We are still running one of the biggest and best photo equipment show and sale left standing. This one may be the last of the two-day shows, but we're committed to keeping it alive. The prices at this show are always about 70% of what I see anywhere else and there is a lot to choose from. The auction, which tends to trend toward dealer attendance, has a great list of items, found here. It will be updated as we finish the inventory. Prices at the auction are always seriously low. Many of these items are donations to us from the families of collectors and photographers who have gone to that big dark room in the sky. We don't need much on each one and would really rather not take them back to the warehouse, so come and make a ridiculously low bid on something.
Here is the write up from our newsletter:
Photographica 84 comes to the Americal Center in Wakefield, MA on
Lots to be offered include wooden cameras from the early 1900s, collectible 35mm equipment, including cameras and lenses by Canon, Nikon, and Leica, and professional film cameras such as Bronicas. Conversation pieces include Feds and a Nicca (Russian and Japanese, respectively) copies of early Leicas.
Find me if you come by. I'll be about 3/4 of the way back, on the left side of the right-most aisle, along with bdial and maybe papagene .
