Photographic Emulsions by E. J. Wall

I've made a PDF of E.J. Wall's vintage book, "Photographic emulsions; their preparation and coating on glass, celluloid and paper, experimentally and on the large scale". It was published in 1929 and while it is out of date is several ways like it uses active gelatin and does not cover sulfur sensitization as it had not been invented yet, but it is interesting from both technological and grammer/language viewpoints.

I still have to fix some formatting in the appendix, but overall you it is quite readable.

Interesting book but watch out. In some places he gives no addition times or temperatures. In some places concentrations are not given as well.

Baker is much better.

I've yet to get a copy of Baker, someday I'll find one at the right price.

Regarding Baker. Abebooks (http://www.abebooks.com/ ) is an excellent second-hand bookseller. It draws upon the databases of a huge number of sellers.

Another option is to visit a reference library or see if an inter-library loan is possible.
