Photographers who worked on trains/trams/subways

Can anyone point me in the direction of photographers who have reasonably large bodies of work in and around trains or trams or any other sort of suburban transport systems?

I know about Walker Evans and his subway photographs ... there must be a lot more though ...

My father in law Al Paterson, he has a collection of over 20 thousand negs of Steam Engines , 1930's-80's mostly Ontario Region.
If you google him you probably get information about his books and such.

Thank you both .... two good suggestions. It's stuff along the lines of the Davidson work that I am most interested in i.e. people using the trains and so on that I am after ...

Any others?

I certainly don't consider myself to be in the same league as Evans and Davidson, but for the past several years I've taken my RZ67 (loaded with Delta 3200) onto the LA subway system and have taken candid portraits of people on the train and various stations along the route as well as at LA's famous Union Station. One such picture won three awards including "Best in Show" in a local contest back in Feb. Email me if you want more details.

There is one guy, working as a photografer full-time in Moscow Metro, documenting everything - people working underground, tunnels, stations, etc. his blog is in russian but the photos speak for themselves...
