Found pinhole and just recently photograms!!! They're so much fun! Don't know anyone locally who prints photograms, so was wondering if there is a dedicated photogram website out there?!

Nicolai, those are some mighty interesting links! My goodness... Stephanie Valentin's bugs are beautiful. Do you know where the color comes from? I wonder about her processes. And another by a man who's name I've forgotten sets my mind wondering how-in-the-world?? Thanks.

Last year - Aug '06 - we NE-APUG'ers had a gathering at Whitey's school. One of the things we did was have a mini photogram workshop presented by a friend of mine, Ed Los. Ed makes these beautiful photograms that have all the usual elements of a photo from a camera: tone, lone, contrast etc.
Too bad most of his are too big for my scanner, otherwise I would post some for all to see.

Thank Katie, she did all the work!

I'm not sure where the color comes from... I neglected to list <a her own chemi/photograms, which were all done with B&W paper & chemistry, yet have a surprising range of color, as do Tarja Trygg's "Solargraphs", which are 6-12 month pinhole exposures on B&W paper. I'd love to know why, too.

Also of interest are these I-don't-know-what-you-call-thems that were made with a lensless Pentax 6x7 by f295 member Daryl.

What really strikes me when looking at this sort of thing is just how narrow our definitions of photography can sometimes be!

I think the only way to share these with the outside world is to photograph them with a d*****l camera and post the files.
Ed is a real analog dinosaur... he doesn't even own a computer and I am not sure he knows how to turn one on and use it. :surprised:
