Hi,
does anyone know a lab which can process C41 in the north, preferably Haifa area ?
I am currently visiting Israel and Google has shown plenty of labs in Tel Aviv, many of whom with good recommendations, but I don't feel like a 2 hour drive!

thanks in advance

look on the bright side, you may, just may see "something" along the way that interests you enough to stop the car get out and "be" a photographer and shoot! Nothing ventured nothing gained. Although I DO see the advantage of speed and accessibility processing local. Hey what about mailing it in! Here in the states many times I send work down to Chicago for processing, and I live in Wisconsin!!!!!wow. I would try the mail service.

No thanks
the default is I take everything back to the UK for processing. I just feel safer having negs and the JPGs on my laptop rather then unexposed film thru the airport. Also I have one new lens which I should really see if it's working properly ....

Having my rolls x-rayed was my biggest concern when i visited Israel last year. I asked the personnel at the airport (Tel Aviv) to be granted a hand inspection.
No way... i got the hand inspection just for the 3200 iso rolls. All the rest (50 and 100 iso) was xrayed. .. I was told tha machine wouldn't have fogged the rolls.
And i must admit it was true. No problem on the picture whatsoever. If i were in you i just would keep the rolls in a safe place and get them processed when you're back home. Unless you plan to stay there for the next six months  Enjoy your visit

I know this is old but perhaps someone else might find this useful
If you are still there Photo Gal in the krayot will do anything you need from C41 to E6 (on site service).
In Haifa there are 1-2 pro labs that can process film for you.

Many thanks very useful
Noted for my next trip
