Can someone point me to a place in London, where I can purchase chemicals for making developer etc?

I would like to mix up a batch of Barry Thornton's 2-bath developer.

Thanks,

HL

I second silverprint. Very friendly and helpful too.

Thanks everyone. I'll give them a try.

Also note, that if you're planning a personal visit then I would recommend doing it on a Friday as you can also pop into Borough Market on the same day. If you like real ale there plenty of places to imbibe around there as well.

Of course, this assumes that you've got the day off and are free to do what you want with your time.

Warning! Visiting this shop can cause serious damage to your wallet :D

As the shop is 200 miles away from me I only get to visit when I spend time with my dad and then we tend to make a day of beer, Borough Market, Silverprint and more beer. The rest of the year I have to rely on mail order, but at least Peach (one of the kitties) gets to play in the packaging.

Roll on September,

Aah, many's the time I remember staggering back to Waterloo station under a huge pile of stuff....cue Hovis ad music:smile::smile:

Thanks everyone.

I visited the store once, a few months ago and it's terrific.
Certainly detrimental to the health of your wallet.

I'll have to take a long lunch break and head over there sometime.

thanks

I can just about get there and back in a lunch break from work. Very dangerous - I have to ration visits :D
