Greetings, I am formulating an approach to c41 ... I never control the pH and I do not know how to do it, I suppose that adding an acid or a base depending on what is desired ... someone could explain to me how to make a solution to raise or lower the ph? Thank you!, sorry,I am newbie.

Thanks for the link, I have reviewed the document, it mentions kit products, flexicolor etc. and with these kits there is no need to control the pH since the manufacturer controls everything ... he only mentions the pH error in the fixer due to contamination and the solution to replace fresh fixative, the pH values... I know ... my The problem is in controlling the pH when I formulate the developer from scratch ... it is not exactly the formula for flexicolor c41 ... my question is how do I get the correct pH 10.1-10.5? What do I have to add to raise or lower the pH? quantity? Process? Thank you

Increase pH with a solution of sodium or potassium hydroxide; I a 10% solution which is pretty strong so I need to add only a few drops for a noticeable increase. For pH down I use acetic acid; in my case cleaning vinegar from the store (which is around 7% IIRC).
