Hello, I have just got on of these spotmeters and I understand the issue with the battery not being available anymore, but I have found this to replace it, I wondered if someone with a lot more know how than me would be able to comment on the link.

I bought one form him and have use it regularly with no problems at all. For me it has worked out well.

How did you find dealing with him, I have sent him an email, but have heard nothing yet, but it was only today. Do you find you get any difference in readings as you use the battery over a period of time?

It is more stable than any other battery substitutes I have tried. As the battery dies the meter quits. There is no noticeable "fade". For me the batteries the adapter uses are very easy to find and relatively cheap. As for the transaction, it was totally unremarkable. It was a couple of years ago and about all I recall was that it all went smoothly. As for a response to e-mail I think he is 7 hours behind me 6 from you.(?)
