As built out my Minolta AF system I stored my Pentax gear. I am in the process of sorting and taking inventory of my unused gear and found the SF1n. I have 2 SF1, the first generation and the SF1n. I ran a roll of film though it, quite a good shooter. While not as advanced in terms of features it has by far the best auto focus the first gen AF bodies I have, Nikon F4, Minolta A9000 and Sigma SA9, spot on every shot, in servo mode does a good job of tracking a moving subject. Only average metering mode, I do miss spot and matrix metering. Top shutter speed is 1/4000 which is fast enough for me 97% of the time. The LED readout lacks aperture, the off set hot shoe does allow to check the top LED panel set an angle allowing for quick glance. What I did not like was it is driven by program mode, over time not so much. I put in sports mode and shot a roll at the zoo with a 70 to 300 zoom, it kept the shutter speed up over 1/500th of a second.

My second SF1 has a split image focusing screen from a salvaged Miranda EE that I used with M42 and K lens. I had sold my PZ1, not I regret it.

Mine's badged as the SFXn.
Big and chunky with good ergonomics.
I'm not sure if I prefer it over my MZ3. I think I prefer the handing of the MZ3 better due to the knobs.
