I have a Pentax S3 which is cosmetically very nice. The shutter speeds is sometimes close to the correct speed but at times the slow shutter speed especially the 1 sec is very short. More like 1/15 or so. It seems that faster speed are OK as they don't change. Anyone has an idea on what is wrong?

Um, It's over fifty years old.kinda likely sort of that it may need a bit of cleaning & lubing.

Hi Chan,
Seriously If I thought I'd finish it in a short time, then sure.
But I've been having trouble devoting myself to fixing anything that I can't use an engineers hammer on.

Hi John,
Well I won't attempt to fix it. I would put it on Ebay and states the problem see if I get anything for it.
