What ho one and all,

Starting a learning process with old camera restoration and as such, purchased a non-working Pentax S1a.
Viewed some YouTube videos and by some cleaning with isopropyl alcohol the application of a bit of sewing machine oil, it is working again.
However, in the process, I removed the top, including the wind lever, to lubricate the bits and bobs below and since reassembling, the frame counter does not rest to zero.
When I dismantled, the pin (red in photo two) reset to around the 6 o'clock position which displays zero in the window. Now it stops at around 3 o'clock (green arrow). It does count up, and resets, but not where it should.
I only removed the top plate, nothing below so don't know what I have disturbed.
It is not big deal as this is a learning experience but would be nice to know.

As an aside and part of the 'learning' experience, had difficulty removing the screw in the middle of the frame counter. Applied a bit of omph, and sheared the head off. Vidoes of similar cameras showed that it undoes clockwise. The lesson, do not apply too much torque and try the other direction!

Thanks and toodle pip
