In 35mm, I mostly shoot with an ME Super, which I have a variety of lenses for. I'm hoping to pick up a faster, more capable AF 35mm without having to buy a whole Nikon F setup, so the MZ-S, from what I have read, seems like it might be a good choice. Can anyone who has used this camera comment on it?

I haven't used the MZ-S, but I've used a Mz-5n for several years and have nothing but praise for it. My only gripe is that my wife likes it so much that she seems to think it's her camera!

If the MZ-S is anywhere near as good, it's a very good camera and you won't be disappointed. I see from Bojidar Dimitrov's Pentax K-Mount Page that the MZ-S is a bit heavier than mine - but adding the weight of the battery pack I put on when I bought the camera and haven't taken off yet, it's comparable and shouldn't be a problem.

It's a very good choice. I tried one and really liked it. It feels good in your hands and is a great camera. I couldn't afford to buy one at the time so I ended up with a *ist 35mm. That is a great one too except for getting used to using the body dial for setting apertures instead of the aperture ring on the lens.
