DESCRIPTION: Pentax MX Camera With SMC Pentax 50mm 1.7 Lens And Front Cap. Camera serial no.9341923. Lens serial no. 4060285. Batteries not included. As shown.

CONDITION: Very good condition overall with some small areas of finish/paint wear and tiny dings/scratches, but nothing serious at all. Shutter fires at all speeds in the automatic and manual settings. Meter and LED's are working, film advance is working, frame counter is working. Viewfinder is very good except for a small amount of dust specks. The lens is in great condition too with excellent glass, no fungus, no scratches on the elements, smooth focus and clean snappy blades. NOTE: On older Pentax lenses there is usually a small white, plastic bump on the lens body which allows easier mounting of the lens in the dark...The little bump is missing from this lens, however, it has nothing to do with the performance of the lens at all. Light seals and mirror bumper are pretty good for it's age. Basically this camera is in very good condition and is working.

I have no connection to the seller, but this is a great little underrated camera.

Used to own one years ago, and it's a solid, all-manual body. Very small too, so perfect for carrying along anywhere. A terrific deal!

Again, no connection with seller, but the MX is a fine shooter, and the f1.7 is an excellent lens. The buyer should watch for the winder, which to me adds just enough mass, etc, to aid handling.
