I have no dependable technician to service this beast, so the camera needs to be perfect or near-perfect.

Camera tech here, and happy owner of a Pentax 67.
I recommend you to assume the camera will require routine maintenance, now matter how good it looks or works. Ideally these cameras should be serviced frequently. An unserviced P67 or P6x7 can appear to work just fine, only to completely lock (mirror stuck) a few months later.
Moreover, the camera can appear to fire at all speeds, but the top speeds (1/1000, 1/500) might produce no exposure or produce uneven exposure.
These cameras require their mechanisms to be clean and well lubricated to work fine. And of course all electronic switches need to be clean. Perform service on them and they will be dependable.
Also, check for infinity focus and uniform focus on the top and bottom of the focusing screen. To remove and re-install the focusing screen (i.e. for cleaning it), focus needs to be re-adjusted. Give this to a technician that is unaware of this (i.e. a BAD technician) and focus will be off on the image plane. This is very relevant because of the extremely narrow DOF of some lenses like the 105/2.4, 150/2.8, 165/2.8... To put matters in perspective, a 165/2.8 is like a 85/1.4 on 35mm terms, only with much higher resolution (and thus more critical DOF).
