My trusty Pentax 67II needs fixed.
The cloth shutter has come off the rail. Sent it in to my regular repairer get repaired, thinking it was just a matter of putting the shutter back on the ail and recalibrating shutter speeds. Turns out there's something wrong with the shutter mech, which needs a spare part Pentax can't provide him with. Camera body needs to get sent into Pentax apparently for repair and replacement part.
Anybody have any rough ballpark suggestions on how much repair may cost before I send it? Would it be better to ook for a used P67II body instead? What are folks experience with Pentax repair turnaround times? I'm based in the UK.
