Who else who has used the version 1 of the Pentax 67, has had trouble actually nailing good focus, no matter the lens being used? I've done 2 shoots of a portrait session now the last 2 months, and it seems I missing focus on most of the shots. My eyes aren't what they used to be, but no matter what direction I focused the f2.4 lens, I couldn't tell if it actually was in focus or not. I wish there was a diopter option for the viewfinder. They have that on the version 2 if I recall. Short of getting a new prescription, are people also having this issue? The screen is dark enough that not seeing the center prism isn't easy. Even at f2.4.

probably not helpful, but I believe the Chimney finder has the highest magnification, and I believe it has an adjustable diopter.

Yep, your focus issue is the primary reason I sold my older 67 and bought a 67II.

I have the 1st gen 6x7 and focussing is accurate, at least within my abilities. Was focussing correct before? The screen could be out of adjustment, or you might need an eyepiece with diopter.

PS. I believe the folding WLF has the highest magnification.

I believe Pentax made a split image focusing screen for the 67's and with the 67II version they made the screens user interchangeable. Before that II you had to send the camera back to Pentax to have the screen changed. Pentax also made a magnifier with built-in diopter that works with the older and II versions.

I have the chimney, it doesn't have a diopter, just a magnifying lens

Maybe diopter is the wrong word, but mine is focusable to match my vision. Maybe they're implemented differently but the same effect as viewfinders with adjustable diopter.
