Pentax 67 105 /2.4: S-M-C Takumar vs SMC Pentax

Anyone notice any optical differences between these two? Is it just a name change or is the coating for the latter one improved?

I have the older version. I can't point out any shortcomings. Sharp, good contrast, compact, sturdy, fast. Not enough weight to worry about. If I thought the latest version would be an improvement I would probably get one. But I don't.

According to Dead Link Removed they're the same optics. For what it's worth, I too have the older version and I'm quite happy with it, it's one of my favourite lenses.
