DESCRIPTION: Pentax 645 Camera Body. No film insert, no battery pack, no lens and no cap.
CONDITION: Camera is missing the “PENTAX” emblem on the front, but overall good condition cosmetically with some scratches and minor soiling. Focus screen has a scratch in the upper right when looking thru the viewfinder, but it doesn’t hinder focusing. I have another Pentax 645 that I used to make tests on this body…Here’s my results: With the grip that comes with the camera I inserted my battery pack and the camera powered up and would fire once then not again unless you turned the main switch off then back on. Each time you turn the switch off and on, the camera will fire and wind. Then I put my grip and battery pack on the camera body…The camera fired and wound without any problems. So, I guess the switch on the grip for sale is defective. The meter and LED’s also work on this body. As far as the buttons for adjusting the modes and such…They work sporadically…One minute they work fine, the next they don’t. Anyway, selling this body in as described condition with the buyer knowing it has some issues.
