I, along with a few other photographers, are part of a gallery show at Photospace, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, starting on October 22nd which will feature the Mountain photography of Craig Richards. Craig, Curator of Photography at the Whyte Museum in Banff, will be showing a selection of his own work, along with images from the collections of the Whyte Museum. The rest of the photographers will be showing a maximum of three mountain-themed prints.
For those of you who have not heard of Craig Richards, he photographs mostly in the Canadian Rockies, and has also done (and continues to do) extensive studies of the peoples of Mexico and Guatemala. He primarily shoots 4x5, with some medium format.
If you're in the Calgary area near the end of October/beginning of November, this is definitely a show you do not want to miss.
