The trick of a good wetting agent is also the right dose. RSWA I am using close to 1+2000 to have maximize advantage for it on both 35mm and roll film.

Very disappointed to hear that Paterson's chemicals appear to be no more. When I was developing black & white films on a frequent basis their Aculux developer was my main choice. Fortunately the firm still make many other photographic products and have recently re-entered the studio lighting field.
