Paterson Acucolor Universal Chemicals

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the whole posting on forums game but I've used this website many times and found it an invaluable source of information.
I've recently acquired some expired Paterson Acucolor Universal chemicals from a local darkroom, they were going to throw it out but instead I saved them the trouble. In the box I found the colour developer and Blix but no stabiliser, my first question is whether there's a need for this chemical or is there a cheap substitute?
Secondly, I was wondering if anyone has used this kit and knows the development times?

As Patterson as not made any colour chemicals for very many years, I would not be inclined to use them, I doubt that they would do anything, better probably to discard them and get fresh.
