Parry C. Yob??

I've got the Petersen's Photographic "Photographic Equipment You Can Build" volumes 1 & 2, BUT I've never seen any or found any reference to him other than those 2 books.

Does anybody know anything about him?

I have a copy of his Y.O.B. Exposure System book - never used the system, can't even recall why I picked it up in the first place so long ago. FWIW, here's what the blurb says:

Parry C. Yob is a California-based photographer and writer who has been learning about and experimenting with cameras ever since he received a box camera at the age of eight. Trained as a chemist, engineer, machinist, and craftsman, he worked as a photojournalist for 16 years before turning to full-time writing and experimentation. Mr. Yob is the author of books on homemade photographic equipment and co-author of Fundamental Photography. He has published numerous articles in Petersen's PhotoGraphic, Modern Photography, Rangefinder, Popular Mechanics, Popular Science, Mechanix Illustrated, American Rifleman, Sports Afield, Home Owner's How-To Magazine, Recreational Vehicle Annual, Outdoor Outlook, and other magazines.
